"I bought a battery for my klx450r with extended warranty on May 2017 , about three months ago the battery would not start my bike so I took it back to get a new one. The guy told me we only warrant them for 1 year so I explained to him I had the extended warranty and showed him my recite. He tested the battery and said nothing was wrong with it? I told him it goes dead after about 4 seconds of cranking over the motor. I left very upset and couldn't believe this just happened, I have been shopping at Cycle Gear for Years and never had any problems. I kick started my dirt bike for 3 months and then brought to Lee's Honda to see why it wouldn't start and adjust my valves. The battery was no good, once again I brought the battery back to Cycle Gear with my battery recite , the guy tested the battery and said it was fine? I then showed him my recite from Lee's Honda that stated the batter was no good, even had the load test computer printout to prove it! He said he had to go by his tester and wouldn't warrant the battery! Now I am passed and wanted to talk to the manager, he said he was the manager so I told him I wanted to talk to his boss. He went to the backroom and said he called all his bosses and couldn't get through to anyone and was very upset and put a new battery on the counter and told me he shouldn't do it because he would get in trouble from his boss, I told him to have his boss call me! I have been shopping at Cycle Gear since they came to Redding Ca. And have spent Lots of money at the store but I have never been treated like this before. You need to check your battery tester or stop selling warrentys."

"I wanted the best battery for my ZX10, and they did not have it in stock. The salesman looked it up and ordered it. It came in when promised, and I picked it up.
I expect as much from this store, but some places screw up the most ordinary things.

"I was on my way to race short on time.. Went to cyclegear.com looking for an umbrella because it was gonna be raining. The websight showed cycle gear had them.. Made a special stop to find no Umbrellas.. Ended up stopping at mom and pop motorcycle store called moto exotica in Vacaville and got a sweet husqvarna umbrella.. My experience with cycle gear in general is slightly less quality brands and very rarely good quality up an coming products.. Staff generally appears to be entry level people. I do not feel that cycle gear is really part of the motorcycling community but more of a dollar general type marketing plan.. Sell cheaper stuff at the best margins possible.. "
